SGA Launches Discount Program at Local Restaurants and Retailers!

The SGA sponsored the Student Savings Club, a national program for colleges and universities, for UH. “Considering these difficult economic times, it’s hard for students and our families to handle all of the expenses of college these days,“ says Kenneth Fomunung, President of SGA.

“This program makes things a little easier by helping students save money at some of their favorite places.” Students can get a list of all the retailers and discounts by following the link here.

Some of the retailers who are participating include Berripop Frozen Yogurt, Buffalo Wild Wings, Freebirds, Jamba Juice, Niko Niko's, Which Wich, Wingstop, and many more!”

The Student Government Association exists to represent the interest of the students by serving as a liaison between the University and community. Students are our top priority and we are always working on a variety of issues aimed at enhancing campus life and improving the student experience. From student services to food services; from academic issues to safety concerns, what ever your issue may be, SGA has a solution for you.

Each student is represented in SGA by student senators according to their academic college. We encourage you all to meet with your Senators through our SGA town halls as well as through our bi-weekly SGA meetings. Both venues present an opportunity to express any concerns that you might have, and to learn what SGA is working on. In addition feel free to visit our offices to speak with us; our doors are always open. We are located in the University Center underground in room 57.
